About Me
How did I come to Know Christ?
I was born and raised in Vietnam, practicing Vietnamese Buddhism and ancestral worship. I came to the U.S. to study abroad. In 2012, through international student ministry and the genuine care of the local church believers, I came to know and accept Christ as Lord.
What is my journey with International Student Inc.?
International Student Inc. (ISI) is a non-profit organization that befriends, shares Christ with international students in colleges, and equip them for the work of the Kingdom in partnership with local churches. ISI has many missionaries who raise funds for their salaries and serve the students. I began volunteering with ISI in 2012. Then, I joined ISI in 2022 as a staff member to share Christ with international students. The Lord provided the religious R1 visa.
When did I move to Atlanta?
I got married in February 2023 in Texas. I moved to live with Vibin, who was from India and moved to Atlanta in 2017. We met at an international students retreat in Texas.
What is my commitment to the Great Commission?
Someone cared enough to reach out and share Christ's love and His word with me. I received Christ and became His disciple. Now, it is my turn to go and make disciples. He has brought the nations through international students to the U.S. He gives me the conviction to reach out and plant the gospel seed. We reach not only the students but also their families and their countries.
What do I do for the ministry now?
I am in the process of raising funds. I moved to Atlanta one year ago. Thus, I partner with and serve the students at Georgia Tech alongside other organizations. We have activities to reach out, build relationships, and share Christ. We have on-campus Bible study weekly, welcoming new students, weekend trips, and gatherings on holidays.
What do I need to fulfill what the Lord called me to do?
I need financial support to do this full-time with the conviction, gifts, and experiences and to meet the R1 religious visa requirement.
How can you get involved?
I want to present the opportunity to partner to reach international students through monthly financial support. The Lord has provided 37 families with support from $35 to $150 per month. I must raise 20% more of the $600 to be fully funded.
Please graciously pray to the Lord and consider this opportunity to partner in the Great Commission to share and make disciples among the nations through international students.
THANK YOU!
